Roe & Cook were plumbers but with a special focus on farm and domestic water supply systems. Our early association with the Davey family from the 1950's meant Roe & Cook were one of the first Davey dealers in Australia. The owner, Don Davey later sold that company and started a new Company called Onga Pumps. Our support was sought, and Roe & Cook became one of the first Onga Pump Shop dealers. Don later sold Onga and starting up Orange Pumps so Roe & Cook also now stock and sell Orange Pumps.
Roe & Cook were also one of the first companies to trial solar pump systems and sell poly tanks when manufacturing commenced. In those early days windmills were still being sold everywhere and we became established Southern Cross windmill agents helping many farmers supply water to remote paddocks. Now, solar pumps are the cheaper, more efficient, and effective way to use renewable energy for water supply.
